Lord Nelson Hotel,

On behalf of the Canadian Radiation Protection Association local organizing committee we would like to extend our sincere thanks to you and to all staff at the hotel who made this year's annual conference such a

resounding success.

It was a pleasure working with you, Holly and Tanya during the planning process. Your attention to detail and your guidance helped us tremendously, from the suggested layout of space for both exhibitors and plenary and breakout sessions to assistance with menu options. We appreciated that you checked in daily to see if any changes were required, From our experience this does not always happen in larger venues.

Feedback from both delegates and exhibitors was also very positive.
Guests found the rooms both very comfortable and well serviced. We had really great reviews about the food and service both in the Victory Aims and the catered events. Choices for the morning and afternoon breaks were outstanding, and we must say the cupcakes were a real hit.

From the exhibitors perspective of the trade show, we had a number of exhibitors note that this was one of the best trade shows they had attended. It largely went off without a glitch, except for a minor issue with power prior to the first break on the first day. A phone call to David and his immediate response was really appreciated. Your hotel is truly blessed to have this remarkable man as part of your staff. His attention to detail is remarkable and he as well checked in frequently to ensure that all was well.

Two other remarkable staff deserve our kudos, Mark and Walter again were available and most helpful at all times.

We appreciated the assistance from both desk and concierge staff who were most helpful.

Our annual conference is held in locations across the country, so it will be a number of years before we have the chance to host in Halifax again. Our committee agrees that when we do host again that the Lord Nelson hotel will be at the top of our list of choices.

Again, our sincere thanks for making this such a memorable and successful experience for our national and international visitors.
