Laundry Attendant

for our on-site laundering operation, responsible for providing clean bath-linen, bed-linen and other washables. This position requires teamwork, consistency and excellent attention to detail and quality product. Applicants must have the physical stamina for strenuous work, contributing efficiently to an operation that processes many hundreds of pounds of laundry each day. Good communication skill, an excellent guest service focus and professionalism are essential, along with availability to work a variety of shift hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

Bell Person

responsible for greeting and welcoming hotel guests, escorting them to their rooms, and assisting with deliveries, departures and information services throughout their visits; must be available to work varied shift hours five days per week, with days off that vary from week to week, and to work weekends and holidays as required. Superior hospitality and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as proven physical stamina required for luggage handling. Bilingualism or multilingualism is an asset. Applicant''s must have a valid driver''s license, a clean driving record, and be proficient at driving standards and automatics in order to provide car parking services and deliveries when required. An excellent knowledge of Halifax and our province is essential in order to provide information services to hotel guests.
